am restoring a 1983 toyoace motorised caravan pop top ---its a diesel engine only done 156.000 kms and has been sitting for how long i don't know , suffice to say long enough for the springs to flatten.
Have put recon spring in as well as new shockers, the whole brake system renewed, had the steering and wheel alighnment done , new tyres, all the mechanics have been checked and found to be good.
the canvas is good but flywire is shot so worked out how to replace that.the cabin is perfect seats as new, the roof had surface rust but repaint fixed that.
Had a coaster for 16 years which was aircond, putting one in this was very thought provoking, a split system no good nor the wall unit types, my wife came up with the idea of portable one and put in front under the sink, she lost a cupboard, when i had to widen the space and we now have a dimplex reverse cycle fitted.
The hot air exhaust pipe at the back does a right angle turn against the wall through and into my lpg gas bottle compartment , the vents in the door take it out extra good, to secure the unit i put 2 50mm angle iron (one each side) between the shelves to stop the backwards movement with a strap around the front to secure

WElcome to the forum- your camper looks nice and your aircon mod sounds great.
Perhaps you could add pics of how it looks.
Regards
