What has the massive increase in fuel prices made to your camping or touring?

It appears that many touring are spending more time in each town or camping spot according to caravan clubs etc.

We thought about a trip to Shark Bay but decided a bit too far and petrol further north will be around $2.00 so it will be down to Denmark or maybe north to Geraldton and back through wheatbelt.
